A game that received really mixed reviews. Many dislike it for being repetitive and lacking challenge.
Final Fantasy Explorers is an action RPG in which your main target is to collect crystals. The game is not story but quest driven similar to Crystal Chronicles.
If you ask me how to best describe this game, I would call it Final Fantasy meets Monster Hunter.
Especially if the monster hunter fighting system is too slow for you, you may have more fun with this game.
The game contains all the elements known from the FF series, like Monsters and Summons. You can choose from multiple jobs and start your adventure in single but also multiplayer mode with your friends
Additionally, the game features a Trance System that let your character transform into one of the well known Heroes like Cecil, Tifa or Lightning.
If you never saw this edition in person, don't expect the size of Dissidia or FFXV Collectors Edition. The box is also surprisingly light. Looking at the content, it quickly explains why!
