I'm posting a lot of Merch in my stories, with screenshots from many different stores. Many of you asked me about some of those shops and I decided to help you all by writing short reviews, not only about the shops, but also some proxy services.
For this purpose, i placed preorders in 7 different shops and will tell you about my experience with all of them.
Today's shop review is: Aitai Kuji!
Aitai Kuji is a small business operated by 12 people and based in Tokyo.
The amount of stuff in the store is not really overwhelming, but they offer all the newly announced stuff, making it a go-to shop for preorders.
For this review, i ordered the two recently released books.
Here are the prices of the books and the shipping costs to Germany:
Final Fantasy VII Remake Ultimania Plus: ¥4500
Trace of pasts: ¥2000
Bundle: ¥6000
Shipping costs: ¥3450 (via unregistered mail)
The delivery of the books took exactly 14 days. The parcel came in a box size matching the content inside. The books were stabilized with some crumpled paper. Additionally, the ultimania was also wrapped in foam foil. "Unfortunately", both books contained some additional paper covers, that were loose and got torn during the transit. This could be prevented by covering them individually with some bubble wrap.
I also opened two service requests regarding issues with the account creation and the "damage" of my books. In both cases the response came within few hours and was really detailed and helpful. Well deserved 5 Stars for this!
