Tifa and Aerith have joined the Bring Arts figure lineup, and since they arrived together, it feels right to combine them into one post. This way, fans of both characters can enjoy the spotlight!
These figures, like the previously released Cloud, Barret, and Sephiroth, are based on their classic designs from the original game. Each figure stands at approximately 13 cm tall. Some might wonder why I’m adding them to my collection now, even though they’ve been available for a while. The reason is simple: these are the NFT-free versions.
It seems Square Enix is stepping away from NFTs, re-releasing these figures without the digital content that many fans weren’t interested in. I held off on buying them initially, and while the gap in my collection was annoying, I’m glad I waited. Now, I can enjoy these figures without the extra cost tied to digital certificates.
Currently, the original Digital and Digital Plus versions are still listed on the official Square Enix Store (EU and NA) for €129.99 and €159.99, respectively, and they still include NFTs. Amusingly, the store pages note that the voucher for the NFT certificate expires in March 2025.
For those looking to purchase, I’d recommend importing from Japan. These NFT-free re-releases are widely available now, no longer limited to the official Square Enix Store. Prices are also more reasonable, around €80.
What are your thoughts on the Bring Arts Tifa and Aerith figures? Are these classic designs a must-have for your collection?
