If you’ve enjoyed the Chocobo board game Party Up!, let me introduce you to another gem: the Chocobo-themed card game, Crystal Hunt. This one’s perfect for quick, lighthearted rounds with friends, supporting 3 to 5 players (4 players being the sweet spot) and taking only about 10-20 minutes per round.
Inside the box, you’ll find 43 game cards, 5 player markers, 5 victory tokens, and an instruction manual. And if you want to add a bit more fun, there's the Dungeon & Monsters expansion, which includes 24 extra cards for more variety.

I can’t quite remember where I found my base set, but I do recall buying the expansion at Animagic—along with a few other goodies I’ve shared before. I’ll never forget the seller’s reluctance to let me buy the expansion alone, saying it was “useless” without the base set. 😂
Here’s the tricky part: the base game is only available on the Square Enix store in North America, not in Europe! You can still find it from third-party sellers on Amazon or eBay, though.
