After trying sweet and savory dishes in the last months, we choose a complete different category for today's post: Drinks!
And because it's so hot outside there is nothing better than a hot drink. Right?! 😅
The ingredients for this recipe were not hard to get and are also not expensive. Instructions are really easy: Take a pot, mix everything together and heat it up until it's boiling. Add chocolate, wait till it completely melts and voila.
Time: 15 min
Difficulty: Easy
Costs: Low
Taste: ★☆☆☆☆
Result: 2 portions
Verdict: For the first time I really didn't like the result of the recipe. Again the writer was adding cardamom and it completely destroyed the drink for me. I couldn't taste anything else but cardamom. I was already dissatisfied of it being part of the apple strudel that we tried last month. This time it wasn't subtle and you couldn't taste anything else. Also, the usage of oat milk is pointless and normal milk would work also. I can't recommend this recipe and it was a waste of ingredients because I really couldn't drink it. My wife managed to take few sips and was more okay with it but couldn't drink more than half.. Too bad because I actually like hot chocolate... Maybe if you are a fan of spices in your drinks, that could be something for you.
Would you try out this recipe?
