As we step into the new year, it’s the perfect time to think about resolutions—especially ones related to Final Fantasy! Do you have any plans to tackle a game that’s been sitting in your backlog for ages, replay a classic you love, or finally grab that piece of merchandise you’ve had your eye on for years?
For me, this year is all about revisiting the classics. While many fans likely dived into the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster Collection when it launched, I’ve decided it’s now time to replay the first six games again. It’s been over 15 years since I last played some of them, and my memories are starting to blur. With 2025 shaping up to be a bit more relaxed in terms of new releases I’m excited about, I finally went ahead and purchased the digital bundle for PlayStation. Now, every time I see those game icons on my screen, they practically beg me to start—how could I resist?
