Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis Expands with Summer Event, Monster Hunter Crossover, and More

Square Enix recently hosted an information broadcast for Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis, detailing several upcoming developments. The game will introduce a summer event featuring swimsuit outfits for Yuffie and Lucia. Additionally, Vincent Valentine will become a playable character in the seventh chapter of the game.

A major highlight is the Monster Hunter collaboration starting on May 30, 2024. Players can expect new Monster Hunter-themed attire for characters such as Aerith, Tifa, Cloud, Zack, and Cait Sith. A teaser trailer showcases Cloud and Zack in Monster Hunter armor battling a Rathalos, with a Palico and Chocobo also making appearances. This marks the first crossover event with a game series outside of Square Enix's portfolio.

Square Enix has also announced modifications to the main story quest level requirements to make the narrative more accessible to players. Changes are expected in mid-June to address the difficulty level of The First Soldier’s finale chapter, which was deemed too challenging by many players.
