Final Fantasy XIV Collaboration Whiskey Returns with Hydaelyn and Zodiark Editions in 2025

Writer: ⚡Xe⚡⚡Xe⚡

Nagahama Distillery has announced the continuation of its collaboration with Square Enix, introducing a second wave of Final Fantasy XIV-themed whiskey. This time, the whiskey bottles will be inspired by the Ancient Primals, Hydaelyn and Zodiark.

The first collaboration, which debuted in late 2023, featured whiskey bottles themed after the major city-states of Eorzea: Limsa Lominsa, Gridania, and Ul'dah. Nagahama Distillery restocked these location-based bottles in 2024, and they will once again be available for purchase during the upcoming sales period.

The new Hydaelyn whiskey is a blended product made entirely in the UK using grain and malt. Meanwhile, the Zodiark edition consists solely of malt, with production incorporating ingredients from both the UK and Japan. Each bottle will contain 700ml of whiskey with an alcohol content of 47% and will be priced at 8,000 yen (€49.15/$53.59).

Nagahama Distillery has set the official release date for these new whiskey editions on May 13, 2025. Additionally, an early-bird sales period will be available through Isetan’s MOO:D MARK website from March 26 to April 15, 2025. During this time, customers will also have the opportunity to purchase another batch of the previously released location-based whiskeys.
