Final Fantasy XIV: Crystal World Launches for iOS in China on August 29

Final Fantasy XIV: Crystal World, the official mobile adaptation of Final Fantasy XIV, is scheduled to launch for iPhone and iPad in China on August 29, 2025.
The title appears under the name Final Fantasy XIV: Crystal World on the Chinese iOS App Store, where pre-registration is already open for iPhone and iPad users. It will be available for free and, according to Naoki Yoshida, does not include any gacha elements. The game is developed by Lightspeed Studios, a division of Tencent Games, and is officially licensed by Square Enix.
The App Store listing confirms a file size of 3.6 GB, with compatibility starting from iOS 11.0 or later. The game supports multiple languages, including Chinese (Simplified), English, Japanese, French, German and Korean.
At the time of writing, no information has been announced regarding a release outside of China or for Android devices.
