While we eagerly await any news related to Final Fantasy Tactics ☠️, here's a glimpse into the GameBoy Advance Tactics entry.
This game isn't a direct sequel to the 1997 PlayStation version but could be seen as a spin-off, sharing many elements with its predecessor. (spinoff of a spinoff 🤯)
The story is an Isekai, revolving around four kids in a town called St. Ivalice. Thanks to a magical book, they find themselves transported to another world, also named Ivalice – the same Ivalice known from FFXII and Vagrant Story.
The game is a turn-based strategy game. You move your characters on a grid-like area and execute commands like attack and magic. You have the freedom to choose classes, abilities, and even stats. Navigating a world map, you accept various missions to gather items necessary for unlocking even more content. Yes, it's a really long game 😅.
While many fans wish for a new entry or a modern remake, Square Enix decided to release more mobile games... Well, not much more to say about that.
Have you played the Game Boy Advance version of Final Fantasy Tactics? Would you like a remake of it?
