I rarely come across FFVIII collections being shared, so I decided to show some love to one of my favorite Final Fantasy games, which recently celebrated its 25th anniversary!
The design of this figure is quite simple and lacks some of the intricate details we're accustomed to nowadays. Strangely, I find myself liking the facial painting, even though, like many other figures, it doesn't perfectly capture the characters' expressions. The figure also includes Quistis's weapon and comes with a card displaying the serial number.
I got this figure a really long time ago, and back then, I had no idea they would eventually become highly collectible and even expensive if kept in good condition. Now, even as they age, they seem to be getting pricier, especially for popular characters like Quistis, who has her own fanbase ^^
I'm still missing some figures from this series, but the prices are higher than what I'm willing to pay. This particular one is going for 150€ and more... maybe one day, I'll have them all, but my wishlist is already quite long, and prioritizing isn't really my strength when I want to have everything xD
