Chocobo and the Magic Book: The Witch, The Girl, and the Five Heroes!
Another epic title, isn't it?!
Chocobo to Mahou no Ehon: Majo to Shoujo to Go-nin no Yuusha (Japanese Title) is an adventure game developed by h.a.n.d. and published by Square Enix. It was released on the Nintendo DS in Japan on December 11, 2008, offering both single and multiplayer modes.
Set on Million Island, the game follows the main protagonist, Chocobo, guided by a mysterious girl named Shirma. The narrative involves characters like Cid, Moogle, and a goal to prevent the Unnamed Witch, who seeks to turn everything in the world completely white.
The gameplay centers on 3D minigames and introduces "Pull-back duels," replacing the previous Pop-up Duels. Chocobo collaborates with different characters, each contributing unique abilities. Upgrading abilities is achieved through Chocoins obtained in minigames. Card games, featuring 137 cards, can be also be played wirelessly or via Nintendo WiFi.
I've attached a few screenshots for those interested in seeing what this game looks like, as well as an official video as a reel.
