New Merchandise: Final Fantasy XIV TTRPG Scenario & Gamemaster Guide Standard and Deluxe Edition

Square Enix has announced the release of a Final Fantasy XIV TTRPG Scenario & Gamemaster Guide, launching in January 2026 in North America and February 2026 in Europe. This expansion for the Final Fantasy XIV TTRPG gives players more tools to create and customize their own adventures in the world of Eorzea.
The guide will be available in two editions. The standard edition, priced at $69.99/€59.99, includes a 276-page book that expands on the game's mechanics and worldbuilding. The deluxe edition, priced at $189.99/€199.99, comes with extra accessories like character token punchouts, encounter maps, and token stands.
To use the Scenario & Gamemaster Guide, players will need either the Final Fantasy XIV TTRPG Standard Rulebook or the free condensed rules available on the official website. The book introduces new mechanics, such as expanded encounter rules that incorporate difficult terrain, special squares, and weather effects. It also provides guidance on modifying existing scenarios or creating original ones.
The guide includes a World Guide with details on Eorzea’s deities, beast tribe primals, and the Garlean Empire. It also features three premade scenarios set during Heavensward for adventurers at levels 50, 55, and 60, forming an interconnected campaign. Additionally, players can take on high-end Challenge Duties, with two premade encounters designed for level 50 and level 60 characters.
The book also introduces eleven premade FATEs inspired by Final Fantasy XIV, covering levels 30 to 60. New Personal Quests allow adventurers to engage in downtime activities and interact with Eorzea’s allied societies. The book includes enemy data for around 130 monsters, primarily from A Realm Reborn and Heavensward.
The deluxe edition enhances the tabletop experience with eight encounter maps, 430 character token punchouts, and 36 token stands of various sizes. All of these come packaged in a special deluxe edition box.
Both editions of the Scenario & Gamemaster Guide will be available in English.
