New Merchandise: Square Enix and Good Smile Company Open Preorders for Lightning Figure

Square Enix and Good Smile Company are now accepting preorders for the second figure in their collaborative Final Fantasy scale figure series. Following the preorder of Noctis Lucis Caelum from Final Fantasy XV, the next character to join the lineup is Lightning from Final Fantasy XIII.

The Lightning figure is a 1/6.5 scale model, standing approximately 270mm tall, and comes with a display stand. Made from painted plastic, the figure captures Lightning in a dynamic mid-turn pose with her Blazefire Saber. Her detailed outfit and accessories are faithfully recreated, matching her appearance in Final Fantasy XIII.

The sculpt was created by Kurosawatsu from Acxyz Creativ, with painting handled by Nakano Figure Classroom (Fukui).

We are now waiting for an update on the previously teased Fran figure from Final Fantasy XII.
