Today's post is not one, but two books and is a German exclusive release.
A few weeks ago, the publisher Panini finally released the Final Fantasy VII Novel Slipcase. Both books are not new and are just rereleases of the known FFVII novels.
"The way to a smile" (English title) and "The Kids are alright "are exactly the same as the original releases Edit: Thx to @mi.schreibt for confirmation
Both books are coming bundled in a plain black slipcase. Only with enough light, the logos on each side are visible. A lil bit underwhelming experience because I unpacked the books in the living room with the shutters down and didn't recognize anything at all 😅
The slipcase is thin and looks cheap. It is also packed in a foil that couldn't look worse. It's so damn sloppy, like I never saw before. As a sealed collector, it's an eyesore! Making pics of this item was also a real pain...
This compilation cost 39€... Is it worth it?
Because the German version of "The way to a smile" is out of print since forever and you are looking for it, then yes! If you don't need it in German just buy the books separately for accumulated just 25€.. In my opinion this compilation is not worth the money and especially after I see what bad quality they delivered..
I attached the pictures of the books I have separately already, so you know what's included.
What is your opinion of this slipcase edition?
