One of the platforms that barely gets any physical Final Fantasy releases.. PC... I thought i will show you at least one of the more "recent" releases that actually doesn't make anyone happy.
PCs in connection with Steam made physical media on PC almost obsolete. Still Square Enix decided to release some of the games on a disc. Kinda.. Why? I don't know...
This Double Pack contains not the originals nor the pixel remastered, but the 3D remakes of FFIII and FFIV. Those are the versions that were also released for DS and Mobile.
I can't provide you first-hand experience, but i read a lot that the installation of the games included in this double pack is a pain. The games are not even completely included on the disc and still require an internet connection to download the rest... why?! This is even more stupid than the code in a box, as burning DVDs that are useless generates even more garbage and is completely pointless...
I definitely can't recommend buying this version. If you want to play those on the PC just get a key or buy it via Steam. You will have fewer problems than fighting with the horrible installations and incomplete files.
@squareenix If you deliever this quality, better don't release a game at all.. That's just sad..
