After complaining about PC releases that do not contain a whole game on the CD, today i want to go back in time, before day one patches, DLCs and code in a box. Here is the PC release of the original Final Fantasy VII from 1998!
I think i don't have to tell you much about this hidden gem... But I still included part of the original trailer video as the last slide.
The PC version is a port of the PlayStation release and features smoother graphics and some fixes of the translation errors. (This time no "this guy are sick" 😅)
This release was really popular among the modding community and can be modified to look very nice with many usefully feature add-ons.
The big box release published by Eidos comes with the game on 4 discs, a manual and some booklets. I miss those times when the packaging was offering something to read before you even started the game. Also, so much nostalgia while browsing through the Eidos booklet containing so many classic and awesome games.
