Usually, the reason why I post something is to showcase different items from my collection. Today, I chose an item specifically to share a relevant video afterward. Okay, this isn't the only reason, but it's the main one.
Because there are many people out there who have never tried FFXIV due to it being an MMORPG, I wanted to share with you the opening of A Realm Reborn!
You might be wondering why I was so eager to post it now. A few days ago, I watched it for probably the 50th time myself, and I still consider it one of the greatest CGI cut scenes the Final Fantasy series has to offer.
For those not familiar with the background, this cut scene is not only the opening of A Realm Reborn, but it was also the ending scene of the original Final Fantasy XIV (the first half of it), symbolizing the end of the world and the shutdown of the servers of the legacy Final Fantasy XIV.
If you've never played Final Fantasy XIV, take a few minutes of your precious time and enjoy this amazing video. It might even give you goosebumps, even if you're not a FFXIV player.
Additionally, on this occasion, I wanted to show you this physical PC version to demonstrate that FFXIV also had a classic plain white cover with only the logo on it. Some people argued with me about this in the past 😅.
