Today's post is one of a dying breed.. A physical release for the PC.
Final Fantasy XV was released 2 years after the initial release, for PC in the form of the Windows Edition. Windows Edition is the same version known as Royal edition from the consoles, that was released at the same time. It contains all the content from the season pass, new dungeon, first person mode, new achievements and much more.
Additionally, the PC Version also has 8k resolution compatibility, 120fps support and uses some of the Nvidia GameWorks futures like Nvidia Flow and Hair Works, offering better fire, water, smoke and hair effects.
Because the majority of PC players buys games digitally, this version is not really easy to find.. If you search for FFXV PC you will find tons and tons of Steam Keys instead of the physical release. I can imagine this release being really rare in the future and it's already being sold for 100€ on Ebay.
The physical release contains only the installer and requires a 98GB download... I talked about this enough in the past... 😑
