What is Kuji?
“Kuji” is short for “takara kuji” which means “lottery.” Many of the goods are only available in Japan by means of a lottery draw, so you never know what kind of item or character you can get until you open your raffle ticket.
Square Enix released an exclusive kuji game to celebrate the release of the Final Fantasy VII Remake game. The kuji included detailed figurines of Cloud, Aerith, and Sephiroth as well as polygon figurines of the original character designs from the 1997 game, glass cups and more!
The "more" included the pins that I am showing you today. There are 5 different ones representing Tifa, Aerith, Cloud, Shinra and the Meteor.
While people sell all of them separately on eBay for 20-30€ each... I bought the whole set for just 12€... I can't repeat it enough, DON'T BUY JAPAN EXCLUSIVE STUFF ON EBAY! Use a proxy! You will save a lot of money.
I am sure we will get more Kuji stuff with the release of FFVII Rebirth. My wallet looks already sad at me while i write this 😂
Which pin is your favorite?
PS. Some of those pins were part of my giveaways in the past. Maybe some will be included in another one? Who knows? 🤔
