It's hard to choose the one and only favorite figure, but this is probably my new favorite.. Maybe not the only one, but it is definitely up there.
After the release of Stranger of Paradise, Square Enix also announced the release of one KAI figure from the game. I was a lil bit disappointed we didn't get the rest of the crew, but at least the one they offered is amazing!
After the arrival, I was already surprised about the size of the box! The packaging is 7cm higher than all the other figures and also wayyyy wider. (FFVII Remake Sephiroth wide) The use of the black, red and pink colors on the box gave me "amazed anime eyes" 😂
The figure looks really badass, is super detailed and comes with Jack's big ass sword. The cape on his back is made out of cloth and contains metal wires to make different poses and dynamics possible. Too bad there is no throne included... Square Enix really needs to include more accessories with their figures than just a set of hands..
This figure was released in December in Japan, and is still available for preorder for the rest of the world. With 250€ it's definitely the most expensive single character Kai figure. (not counting sets with vehicles or monsters) But damn is it worth the money and makes the other KAI figures looks cheap! Super happy to have him in my collection. Now I want a Neon figure! Do it @squareenix!
