I think many of you will understand that recently I've been more excited about adding items to my collection from games other than FFVII or FFXIV. That's why I was thrilled to finally add PuPu (aka Koyo-Koyo) from Final Fantasy VIII to my plushie collection. Square Enix unveiled this adorable plushie in 2018, and after missing out initially, I seized the opportunity during the recent Black Friday sale.
For those unfamiliar, PuPu is an optional enemy in Final Fantasy VIII, making appearances in the Balamb crater where Balamb Garden once stood. Even in the endgame, it lingers if players haven't completed the associated sidequest.
This plush has been recreated with great detail, from its yellow antenna to its squiggly eyes. There aren't any more details to recreate anyway 😂.
Priced at 21.99€, the plushie can currently be easily acquired from the official Square Enix Store. However, during the Black Friday sale, it was available at a discounted price of 17.59€, and I'm sure it won't be the last time it's available at a reduced price.
