Dragon's Crown is a mix of an action RPG with a side scrolling beat em up. You can choose one of six characters and start your journey for the search of the magical Dragon's Crown. If you are not familiar with the Developer Vanillaware, they were also responsible for 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim and Odin Sphere.
Like in most games of this type , while fighting your way through dungeons, you level up your character and equip it with the found loot.
The gameplay and graphics are definitely fun and the biggest strength of this game. Although the character design is a lil bit hmmm how to say it? Controversial 😅

The game was released worldwide for PS Vita and PS3. Additionally, a remastered called Dragon's Crown Pro was released for PS4 with 4k graphics and even cross play.
The game also supports a four player coop that makes it possible to play all levels together with friends. Unfortunately a pretty long tutorial of 5-6 hours need to be completed to unlock it.
The game is pretty repetitive but a lot of fun on the go or while traveling! If you like a mix of a sidescroller with action rpg this could be the game for you!
