Here we go with another Action RPG. Yes, there were plenty released for Sony's portable consoles and i own "few" of them..
But compared to other previously showed games, this one should be known (hopefully) to most owners of a Vita system.
Freedom Wars had one of the most successful releases for the Vita and with a Metacritic of 73 also did pretty well in the reviews. The user rating is with 83 even higher and many people especially compliment the gameplay mechanics and graphics.
The game is taking place in a distant future and tells a story of criminals fighting for their cities to regain freedom. The overpopulation is an issue so everyone is found guilty of almost everything (even just the existence) and get sentenced with 1 Million years. Instead of being in a prison the prisoners "voluntarily" participate in the war. By killing monsters they are reducing the sentence they are serving.
The gameplay is a third-person battle action game in which you fight giant bosses. A genre that was really popular on the Vita and PSP. The game is playable Solo and in Multiplayer. It offers a lot of content and customization.
The game could be described as Deadman Wonderland meets Attack on Titan but with monsters/robots.
