This week's winner was: Mech!
I was a lil bit surprised that the mech genre really won against puzzle, racing and (even though it was really close) rhythm games.
Armored core is my favorite mech series that I played on every generation of Sony consoles. It was also part of a Playstation 1 demo disc that I was playing over and over again when I couldn't afford the full versions of games. The game was developed by FromSoftware that is now really famous for their Souls games.
Armored core is a third-person shooter in which you take control of mechs called "Armored Cores" and either battle in arenas against other robots or fulfill missions in a more open space.
The coolest thing and a long term motivation is the customization of the Cores. You can earn credits to buy new parts and this way adjust your loadout to better fit missions or your personal play style.
For a change, I wanted to show you one of the entries for PlayStation 2.
Last Raven is the eleventh entry in the Armored Core series and concludes the story that started with Armored Core 3.
The game contains 70 missions that are happening in a time frame of 24 hours. Based on your choices of the missions, the game concludes in a different ending.
