And here we go with another region-exclusive collector's edition. While it still sucks that it's region-exclusive, for a change, it wasn't limited to the Japanese region but North America. Like many collector's editions, this version was only sold in the official Square Enix Store.

As a collector, I unfortunately initially missed out, holding out for a potential European release. Regrettably, that never happened. Fast forward to today, and the prices have skyrocketed. What was once a steal at $89.99 on the Square Enix Store is now being listed for $300, $400, and beyond.
As a big Lightning fan, I am really glad to own all collector's editions, including the Lightning Ultimate box in a sealed condition. It was one of my main targets for my collection some years ago. Now I have new targets 😅
