Tekken Tag Tournament 2 is one of my all-time favorite Tekken entries! I am in general a big fan of Tag fighting games and it is all I am playing in DOA5 for example. (shame on you DOA6!) I loved the original Tekken Tag for PS2 and was really happy when a new release was also announced for the PS3.
The central feature of Tekken Tag Tournament 2 is the ability to switch between two characters during a fight. Players can execute tag assaults to switch characters mid-combo, tag crashes to counter enemy attacks and switch out, and tag throws to perform powerful joint throws with both characters. This tag system allows for strategic gameplay, combo extensions, and capitalizing on character strengths.
The game features 59! characters. All of them are accessible without any Season Passes or other BS that you would nowadays have to pay extra for! Additional DLC characters were given for FREE with the game updates. Wtf happened to you Namco?!
I was actually hoping for a new entry for the last gen consoles, but honestly, I know we would get a reduced roster and a game full of mtx bs that they can keep. Yes, I really hate it and can't mention it enough.
