This is one of the favorites games of my wife! We spend hundreds of hours playing it in couch coop together. It's maybe still fun playing alone, but definitely it's another level when playing with someone.
7 Days to Die is a survival horror game in which your primary objective is just to survive. There is no real story, and your character is starting on a randomly generated map. You need to gather resources, build a shelter and try to prevent being overrun and killed by zombies. The zombies are mostly calm during the day, but getting very aggressive at night. Every seventh night, during the blood moon, the zombies are coming in swarms and in way more tough and aggressive versions.
First, I will mention the negative things about it. The game's graphics are actually pretty bad compared to other PS4 games. The game is also full of bugs and glitches. Floating zombies: check! Clunky controls: check!
But I can tell you, if you can overlook the bugs and the bad graphics, the game is plenty of fun! And this is most important about games, isn't it? Gathering resources together, planing of the shelter and protection during nights is cool and satisfying. Every day, you are trying to discover more and more of the map before the sunset.
If you are familiar with ARK: Survival Evolved, you can imagine this being a not so good-looking but still fun zombie version of it.
