In Year 2014 Square Enix decided to re-release one of the most popular Final Fantasy games.
Even though the PS4 was already released, Square Enix still released the HD-Remaster for the previous generation of Sony consoles. But it was only a matter of time until also PS4 version will be published... By now I am surprised that there is no PS5 release..
Funny enough SE also decided to release a limited edition for PS3 and PS4 that have different content. While the Ps3 comes in a bigger packaging and contains an Artbook, the here shown PS4 version contains a steelbook with Amano's Artwork of Yuna on it. Hmmm I am actually unsure which one I prefer more, but honestly I wish both would have a steelbook AND artbook 🤷
Good news for everyone interested in this edition of the game as it is still widely available and can, for example, be purchased for only 40€ at Amazon. The steelbook is definitely one of the prettier ones and a must-have for fans of FFX
