In the last week's voting, you clearly decided for an adventure game, and I brought you a really good one.
Life is Strange is another game that I started in the past, but never finished. I am trying to mix the genres when fighting my backlog and this time I wanted to play a more story driven game and finally managed to finish this one.
Life is strange is following a story of a teenager named Max, going to a photography school and getting back in touch with her childhood bff leading to a lot of drama. Additionally she is having visions of the future and then finds out that she is being able to rewind time. This can be used to change outcomes of dialogs and the story.
As a big fan of time traveling stories, this game was always intriguing and in the end turned out to be really fun. It felt more like watching a show and while playing every day for 2 hours in the evening, I finished the game in just a week. Even though the game is really good, I think that some of the decisions didn't make much sense, not much was explained except the "Butterfly Effect" and the last chapter and the ending was a let-down to me.
The game was originally released in episodes, what I am not a fan of. Give me a full game instantly, because like TV shows and animes i am not waiting a week for a new episode but binge-watch a whole season in one go. The game containing all episodes, was now even rereleased as part of a remastered collection for Nintendo Switch.
