I actually wanted to show you the current Visual Novel I am playing, but it looks like it will be a lil bit longer till I finish it to write my full impressions, so I will make a post at a later time.
Instead, I show you one of my favorites! Steins Gate! If you paid attention to my posts, you might think "Is he getting senile?! He just posted Steins Gate few weeks ago!?"
First, embrace it that there can't be too much Stein's Gate! Second, read first again! And third, today i want to talk about Steins Gate Linear Bounded Phenogram! A digital only release that is bundled with Steins Gate elite! It is a rerelease of a PS3 and X360 game.
When I saw the DLC code being included with SG elite, I was expecting a small little game that will offer me few hours of gameplay... Yeah... 52 hours later, I finished every single story and loved it!
LBP is a spin-off to the main title and contains 10 stories being told from the perspective of different characters. While some of the stories are connected, most of them are standalone and are happening in parallel timelines unrelated to the main game.
You could consider the stories more of "what if?" scenarios. While not being canon, they flesh out every single character with more details, their feelings and especially their thoughts. Some are told in a more serious manner and some in a more goofy way. In the end, you will love all of them for giving you more insight into the world of Steins Gate!
I can't repeat it enough! If you like Steins gate (the anime or the original VN) get Steins gate elite and play the bundle asap! It's the best you can do as a fan of this part of the science adventure stories!
