Even though Final Fantasy XV might be not the most popular entry in the series, there really shouldn't be anyone complaining about the soundtrack of the game.
Yoko Shimomura did a fantastic job composing some really impressive pieces fitting perfectly the theme of the game. To most Square Enix fans, her name should be familiar for the involvement with the Kingdom Hearts series.
Songs like Somnus, Stand Your Ground, Valse di Fantastica or Apocalypsis Noctis are still causing flashbacks of the scenes from the game. A truly memorable soundtrack that deserves more credit!
For just 25€ you will get 4CDs with over 90 songs. Definitely an awesome OST for a really affordable price. Note: there are two versions of the soundtrack. The European version was published by Sony Music and is also the one you see in this post. Square Enix Music also published one in Japan, which comes with the in Japan obi paper.
This soundtrack was also released as a limited edition containing Blu ray discs that I will show you another time.
