The latest addition to the Final Fantasy soundtrack collection is finally available outside of Japan. All fans of FFXVI can now enjoy the massive number of tracks to relive the scenes from the game once again.
The soundtrack was released in two different versions: the Standard Edition and the Ultimate Edition.
Standard Edition:
This extensive 7-disc set features a compilation of tracks that beautifully depict the game's vast world. With a total of 181 tracks, you'll be instantly transported back to the into the game. The included booklet showcases stunning artwork from the game and notes from composer Masayoshi Soken and other creators of Final Fantasy XVI.

Ultimate Edition:
This edition comes with a total of 8 discs, including 1 bonus disc, all packaged in a premium box. With a grand total of 199 tracks, this edition offers the same expansive 7-disc set as the standard edition, along with an additional bonus disc containing tracks not found in the standard version, such as those from various cutscenes. The Ultimate Edition's box features beautiful artwork by Yoshitaka Amano, and the discs have a unique design compared to the Standard Edition.

Note: The theme song "Tsuki Wo Miteita - Moongazing" by Kenshi Yonezu is not included in either version of the soundtrack.
As a pre-order bonus, Square Enix EU has included a clear file featuring the iconic artwork of Clive, as well as cute Torgal post-it notes.
While the first wave of the Ultimate Edition has already sold out, Square Enix is giving fans another chance to grab the limited edition with a second production wave now available for pre-order. Good news for international fans: the soundtrack can be also purchased worldwide via CDJapan.
