Piano Opera: Final Fantasy I-IX (Special Edition) is a collection of three albums:
- Piano Opera Final Fantasy I/II/III
- Piano Opera Final Fantasy IV/V/VI
- Piano Opera Final Fantasy VII/VIII/IX
Each CD contains music from the corresponding games and is arranged and performed by Hiroyuki Nakayama.
I purchased this soundtrack at the Crystalline Resonance Concert, which I attended with @finalfanjessi last year. Interestingly, it was the only merchandise available at the concert. 😅 I tried to find it online, but I had no luck except for one listing priced at 150€. I managed to buy the soundtrack for 50€, so in hindsight, it was a good purchase.
Do you enjoy piano interpretations of songs? What is your favorite?
My favorite performances during the concert were "The Promise" from FFXIII and "Valse di Fantastica" from FFXV, although they are not included in this CD. 😂
