The Black Mages was a band, active from 2002 till 2010, which arranged Final Fantasy compositions in hard rock style. But why do i even care about some cover band? Because this band was formed by Nobuo Uematsu, Kenichiro Fukui and Tsuyoshi Sekito, three composers and legends from Square and Square Enix.
In the time of their existence, the band released three albums covering a wide range of Final Fantasy songs. This here shown first album contains bangers like Force your Way (FFVIII), Those Who Fight Further (FFVII) or Clash on the Big Bridge (FFV). I can highly recommend all of you to check out their live performance of all the songs on YouTube. I added a little appetizer video as the last slide. Goosebumps!
