Square Enix Reimagines Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis in a School Setting

Square Enix has introduced Ever Crisis Academy for Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis, reimagining Midgar as a school setting. The update includes character artwork, profiles, a relationship chart, and downloadable wallpapers. The official website also references a trailer, though it has not been released. (if it will ever be 😉)
Story:
The city of Midgard, a short distance from the bustling metropolis, is known as a home for academics. Yet beneath its refined exterior lies a hidden world where young delinquents fight day and night, their lives governed by one rule: might makes right. At Midgard Seventh High School, Cloud wields his bat, seeking ever-stronger rivals on his quest to become Midgard’s Brawler: First Class. However, Cloud’s childhood friend Tifa is wary of his reckless path and hatches a plan to reform the combative youth. Behind the scenes, Midgard’s top brawler, Zack, and the school’s “big bad” Aerith are up to trouble of their own. All of this sets the stage for the ultimate showdown, where the pride and spirit ofthese young students will be on the line!
Midgard Seventh High School is home to students like Cloud, Tifa, Zack, and Aerith. Zack holds the title of Brawler First Class, a position Cloud wants to take. Tifa serves as class president, while Barret, the baseball coach, hopes to recruit them into a team to challenge Shinra Private Academy.
At Shinra Private Academy, Sephiroth and Angeal are part of the student council. The school also features various teachers, including Glenn for art, Matt for political science and economics, and Lin for biology.
A relationship chart illustrates the connections between characters, introducing new dynamics for this alternate setting.
Several characters, including Cid, Vincent, Red XIII, Cait Sith, and Yuffie, are not featured in this event.
