Today, I have chosen to share another one of the latest figures, one that I affectionately call the "Sitting on the Toilet Tifa."
Out of all the dress variations available, this particular one happens to be my least favorite. When I selected the "sporty" option in the game, it was certainly not what I had anticipated. I must confess, it left me rather disappointed, as I was expecting something more similar to Dead or Alive. As previously mentioned, her posture is rather unappealing as it creates the impression that she is seated on a toilet. 🤷
Square Enix has recreated every detail of the figure, capturing the luxurious texture of her dress, the accessories adorning her hair and outfit, and even the thigh-high stockings. To complete the package, a chair and base are included. The figure's dimensions are approximately 16 cm in length, 14 cm in breadth, and 14 cm in height.
However, there appears to be some confusion regarding the figure's name. While numerous websites list it as the "Fighter Dress Ver.," the packaging clearly states "Sporty Dress Ver."
Currently, it is available for pre-order at the official Square Enix Store for €200, with an expected release date in July. Alternatively, it can still be purchased for €110-130 from HobbyLink Japan and Amiami. Considering that it is a relatively simple statue, the price seems quite steep. Yet, given the recent prices of other Final Fantasy merchandise, I suppose we will have to become accustomed to such costs... not to mention the Final Fantasy VII Taxes.
