Then it seems like you're not following @the_final_fan.tasy , whose life mission is to convince Square Enix to release a remake of this game. I'm sure you've seen his comments under some of the official SE posts. đ
Final Fantasy Mystic Quest is a spin-off title from the main Final Fantasy games. This game is supposed to offer an easy entry into the genre of role-playing games. It's also a turn-based game with all the familiar elements like attacks and spells. The game is definitely simpler than what we're used to from the other Final Fantasy games.
The Japanese version is pretty easy to find for a reasonable price. I paid 20⏠for a game in the condition you can see in the pictures. Unfortunately, I can't say the same about the PAL and NA releases...
I personally never finished this game and just tried it out here and there. So I can't say how good or bad it is. đ
