Here's the next post about a game my wife recently finished, and I'm sure many of you are already familiar with it! It’s one of those indie hits that gained a lot of attention, earning several award nominations and wins. Since the game wasn’t widely released physically, my wife decided to import a Japanese copy, which was much cheaper and also playable in English.
Released in 2015, Undertale is a 2D role-playing game developed by indie creator Toby Fox. It's available on various platforms like PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox. The game mixes traditional RPG mechanics with unique combat that combines turn-based strategy and bullet-hell elements. You control a child who falls into the Underground, a world filled with monsters that have been sealed away from the surface.
What makes Undertale stand out is its approach to combat and story progression. Instead of just fighting enemies, players can choose to spare or befriend them. These decisions not only affect the dialogue but also change the outcome of the story, offering multiple possible endings.
