Final Fantasy XVI does not have a single main theme like previous games in the series. Instead, it has multiple main themes that represent the different important characters and their relationships with the Eikons.
Soken, wanted to create distinct musical motifs for each character that would reflect their personality and be easily recognizable to players.
Therefore, Final Fantasy XVI has a unique approach to its music by giving equal importance to each character's theme instead of focusing on a single overarching theme.
