Two weeks ago i showed you the 20th anniversary issue of the Famitsu book. But also SE Mook published a series of Anniversary Ultimanias to celebrate the milestone of the franchise.
Studio BentStuff edited 3 books all covering the main series from FFI to FFXII. Those are also the only ultimania books covering the scenarios and gameplay of FFI to FFVI.
The first Volume is called "File 1: Characters" and covers release data and the story of every single game. Additionally, every game features a relationship diagram showing the connection between all characters. The information about characters are split in bio, locations and "Impressive Words" sections. The characters are categorized in three tiers "Main Characters", "Party Characters" and "Rival Characters". Overall the book is packed with information about every relevant character from all the games.
Those books are cheap and not hard to find on eBay or any other platform offering Japanese books. The usual price is around 20€ for one but is definitely cheaper if bough in bundle with the other 2 books.
