Another post about the second entry in the main Final Fantasy series. This time I've got the Wonderswan Color version for you, a handheld not very well known in Europe and the US because it was only released in Japan. The game was released in 2001 and, like all Wonderswan games, comes in a small compact box.
This is the first remake of Final Fantasy II and features the following differences compared to the original Famicom release: The most notable change was the graphical update, which included more detailed sprites, a complete revamp of battlefield and dungeon backgrounds, better sound, and higher overall resolution. This is also the version that the PlayStation release is based on!
Many may own FFII for Famicom, PSP, or GBA, but having it for Wonderswan is definitely a more exotic case. The current price ranges between 20-40€ and it's fairly easy to find on the various auction platforms right now. Undoubtedly a tip for every collector!
