Many special editions of games are real eye candy, but today I want to show you one that, in my opinion, is quite the opposite.
The Final Fantasy Type-0 HD Fr4me Edition stands out for its unique packaging. This limited edition comes with a Fr4me case, which is a bit different from what you’d expect in most collector’s editions. The Fr4me case acts like a photo frame that also serves as a game case. You can remove the covers and customize them using the provided art cards, allowing you to personalize the front and back. The case can also be displayed horizontally, as the finger grips double as a stand, letting you showcase the case like a picture frame.
Even though I usually love red, the Fr4me case design feels cheap and doesn’t match the overall presentation of the artwork it’s meant to highlight. It’s a cool idea, but the execution leaves something to be desired.
